Our Speaker
His Grace Bishop Basil
This year’s speaker is the Southern Diocese’s own auxiliary bishop Anba Basil! Born and raised in New Jersey, His Grace entered the monastic life in 2008 at St. Mary and St. Moses Abbey in Texas. In 2018, His Eminence Metropolitan Youssef called him out of the monastery to help in the service of the diocese where he is much beloved by the people—especially the youth.
