Where does the name “Her First Love” come from?
The name of the retreat comes from the verse in Revelation 2:4 “Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.”
In His message to the angel of the church of Ephesus, the Son of Man continues saying, “Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works.”
In this retreat, we obey Christ’s message, remembering Him as our first love, repenting, and rising again.
Where will HFL be held in 2024?
We’re so excited to be back at the St. Mary and St. Demiana Convent for Lent 2024!
Who can attend HFL 2024?
All women 21+ are invited to attend Her First Love! Children under the age of 5 may accompany their mothers, but there is no program for children.
What if I can’t make it after all and need to cancel my registration?
Cancellations are accepted before March 1. Please contact the committee at hello@herfirstloveretreat.org.
In what language will the lectures be given?
All lectures and materials will be in English.
